We prefer to promote from within our own ranks. Our rising Assistant Principal and School Leader programs help teachers transition from running a classroom to running a school.

Success Stories
Karina Mateo joined Success Academy in 2016 as a STEM teacher at SA Bronx 2 Middle School. She advanced to the role of math content lead and then assistant principal. In 2019, Karina joined the High School of the Liberal Arts–Manhattan’s leadership team as an associate dean and then dean of academics.
Chris Hall joined Success Academy in 2016 as a middle school STEM teacher. He advanced through the role of grade-team lead and assistant principal, and in 2021, became the school principal at SA Rosedale in Queens.
